<p><strong><u>Stress And Anxiety Symptoms</u></strong></p>
<p>Anxiety is a human emotion that creates unrealistic apprehension and worry which usually starts from stress, fear and nervousness.  Many people face it at one time or the other, reacting with stress to certain situations and it is not a result of character flaw or personal weakness.  </p>
<p>General symptoms may include uneasiness and inability to stay calm, uncontrollable thoughts, shortness of breath, sweatiness, heart palpitations, sleeping problems, numbness in the hands and feet, worrisome behaviours, etc.  If left untreated, it may become more serious, developing into obsessive rituals, unnatural phobias and even leading to panic attacks.</p>

<p>When a person feels stressed, two things happen.  The first is that the person feels threatened and the second is the person believes that he or she is unable to deal with that threat.  This negative emotion is a perception of that threat and becomes an uncontrollable problem when it starts to interfere and disrupts a person&#8217;s ability to lead a normal life.  </p>
<p>If you are exposed to stress constantly, that means you may develop feelings of anxiety, making it a part of you and your thought process.  This essentially means that while you fear of what has happened, you will also worry about &#8216;what if it happens again&#8217;.  Eventually, this vicious cycle will become a habitual way of responding to stress and anxiety as your subconscious mind keeps holding onto the emotional fear.</p>

<p>As hypnosis is a very effective technique for accessing the subconscious mind, your hypnotherapist will help you remove your negative emotions via various methods such as mentally relaxing the mind and feeling emotionally calm, thereby negating the existence of stress as the mind cannot be in two dominant, opposing states at the same time.  </p>
